Jath Shao is an immigrant from the Philippines, who became an immigration lawyer before becoming a naturalized American citizen.
Having experienced the embassy application process for B-1/B-2 tourist visas, F-1 student visas, and the USCIS process for H-1B, adjustment of status to legal permanent residency (commonly known as "green card”), and naturalization first-hand, Jath empathizes with his clients and the situations they are facing when dealing with agencies, consulates, embassies, and courts.
As an immigrant, Jath is passionate about helping clients navigate the family-based immigration system to unite with their loved ones in the United States, to help employers, entrepreneurs, employees, and investors through business immigration, to help asylum-seekers and other victims of domestic violence and crime seek refuge, and defending people from deportation or removal proceedings in immigration court.
Jath and his team also help immigrants, visa holders, legal permanent residents, and small business owners with their family law issues such as divorce, child custody, support; contract negotiation, writing, and review; and personal injury and other legal issues in selected states such as Ohio, New York, Illinois, and California.
